Hello men, dear john!

In Germany it is legal to buy and sell sex. Prostitutes are entitled to social security cover like any other legally employed person. Forcing someone to work as a prostitute or exploiting prostitutes, however, is a criminal offence - one that is worth billions of Euros.

We want you - the men - to be aware and informed of the situation of the women forced into prostitution, the forced prostitutes, and the women, although working as prostitutes of their own accord who are exploited by pimps. Perhaps you as john are the only one to come into contact with these women. We are asking you to take a closer look.

We are not against prostitutes, nor do we condemn the men who use the services of prostitutes. We do not want to judge morally. We cannot, though, remain indifferent to the fate of thousands of victims of human trafficking and women forced into prostitution.

Hundreds of thousands of women are smuggled into and within Europe each year. They are forced into prostitution and cruelly exploited.

Forced prostitution is a scam that is also deceptive to men who are unknowingly dragged to the grey area of organised crime. As a john you are also being cheated - the services offered to you are not given voluntarily.

As John you create the market for prostitutes through your demand. You can, however, influence this market with your behaviour and react to these injustices. As a responsible citizen you are surely not going to support the exploitation and slave-like situation of forced prostitution.
